Our Story

Build Play Learn Labs (BPL Labs) was created with the belief that learning becomes more meaningful when students can build, explore, and discover for themselves. The “Build” in our name focuses on hands-on creation where students design, construct, and solve problems using engineering, coding, and design skills. “Play” highlights exploration and experimentation, giving students the freedom to try new ideas, make mistakes, and develop creativity and confidence.

The “Learn” component ties everything together by connecting each activity to real-world concepts and practical knowledge. Through interactive and project-based learning, students gain a clear understanding of how things work and why they matter. By bringing together building, playing, and learning, BPL Labs creates a holistic STEM experience that inspires curiosity, encourages innovation, and empowers students to grow as creators and problem-solvers.

Our Core Values

  • Accessibility & Equity: We're committed to increasing the accessibility of STEM programs for all students, especially those from underrepresented communities.
  • Creativity & Play: Learning should be fun! We embrace the "Build • Play • Learn" philosophy where students learn by doing and creating.
  • Community Partnership: We work closely with families, schools, and community organizations to create meaningful impact.
  • Future-Ready Skills: We equip students with coding, engineering, and problem-solving skills they need for the 21st century.
